Wastewater characterisation, wastewater quality parameters, BOD, COD, various types of
solids, physicochemical, biological methods, solid-liquid separation, grit removal, screening,
commutation, mixing equalization.
Design of activated sludge process, trickling filters, oxidation ponds, oxidation ditch.
Water quality modelling: DO-BOD Streeter-Phelphs equation.
Wastewater collection system: Analysis, design and appurtenances.
