go through the above mentioned and post your comment to the above email or the forum requesting to include facilitation and approval of non formal program AMIE in the New Education Policy 2016 as it helps in skill development and upgrading of working  Diploma Engineers to Graduate Engineers, who otherwise dont have other means of career development as they cant attend regular colleges

What is the present status on this subject? Is GOV of INDIA considering AMIE as equivalent to BE degree!

Request AMIE students and AMIE passed to comment on the Draft new education policy 2016 to continue to recognise AMIE in the link provided below in https;//
Seems AMIE students and passed have not taken the matter seriously and not posted their comment on the forum. Please do so urgently, if you cant spend view minutes to share your views then there is no point to regret latter or make discussions regarding the same in this forum which is not of any use.

When the government gives the citizens a platform to express their views , please take time and comment on the policy before 16 August 2016

There is good news for all AMIE passed before May 2013 or AMIE students who were registered with IEI before 31 May 2013. Please visit IEI website for AICTE notice concerning the good news or see Hindu News Paper 31 October 2017, announcement from AICTE.

For the few friends here who answered my requests to write to the government through to continue AMIE recognisation, a big Thank you and well done and for those guys who did nothing,but expected some body will do for them good luck, atleast for the remaining issues such as  AMIE approval from Government organisations or state governments who require full time engineering graduate please do something and help yourself
