Rest all Institution of Engineers (India),IETE etc professional Institutions have not disclosed to its students and members that there is issue with there Degree level programs despite non recognition from AICTE.

This cannot be permitted as either program should be recognized by AICTE or the host Institutions conducting this program should be asked to remove misleading recognition information from their website.I am not sure how do they are informing there students that the program is recognized in USA,UK,Australia.There is no way any Indian Degree Qualifications can be recognized in USA,UK,Australia and Canada as India doesn’t qualify under Washington Accord .All Indian Degrees are treated as Non Recognized Degree from 3rd world developing nations.

Please act responsibly and avoid misleading information that Degrees without Washington Accord are recognized globally.

I guess AMIE/AMIETE will respond that till 31st May 2013, they have recognition, and need to change the recognition related documents till midnight of 31st May 2013. All are in game...
Moreover, many colleges are now advertising certain courses with a star mark stating, that these courses are subject to approval from university. With the belief, that they would surely get recognition, once after they start those courses. These things are quiet common among universities and affiliated colleges in India.

In one way, I guess the MHRD recognition withdrawal and getting AICTE recognition issue is overly exaggerated among the communities/stake holders. Reason behind such speculations is any of these bodies (AMIE/AMIETE etc) are not coming forward to openly issue statements like what they are going to do under this situation.

I expect that getting AICTE approval for these institutions (as they exist for decades with approval from MHRD-Govt.Of India) wouldn't be a bigger issue. After the process of getting approval, all they need to do is, publishing it. Thats it. Just because for that they don't have to stop admissions/conducting examinations and it need not be viewed as an offence!!

If IEI tried well then AMIE would have get the recognition of AICTE. Well IEI,MHRD,AICTE all are responisible for the harrasment of students. Only media can help us. So i giving u this link. Nw we wil teach a lesson to all irrisponsible,sleeping officers.  http://zeenews.india.com/zeehelpline/

Dear friends, I contacted a person of AMIE's cochin branch about this issue, he told me that the issue is in court now and it has extended the last date up to August 6. After that they will take a decision I think. On this information we can assume that, IEI is fighting in the court for us. So that they do not change the recognition details from their website.

   He also told that the students who are going to be or already had joined/enrolled before August 6 2013 will have no any issues. It will not affect them,

   AMIE is not coming under AICTE or UGC. AICTE and IEI are direcly coming under MHRD. So AMIE doesnot require the approval from AICTE. But now AICTE is trying to bring all the technical courses their under, so the MHRD is trying to withdraw its recognition.  

   The main problem is AICTE is only conducting technical courses with regular basis. It will not accept the corresponding courses. In this situation we cannot predict what will happen....

Dear all

As per MHRD notification IEI should put a notice stating MHRD recognition withdrawal but still IEI did not do this, as per ?
MHRD notification it was over on 31.5.13,
IEI didn't get stay order from the court for extending the time frame.

IEI is violating the rules of MHRD, hereafter student enrolled for AMIE is not considered for any opportunitynor higher studies.
In other wards AMIE is not included in indian education system. It is only for technical knowledge.

Accordingly, as prayed respondent no.2 is deleted from the array of parties. Let an amended memo of parties be filed by petitioner. Let appropriate steps be taken by the petitioner to
implead UGC as a party in the present proceedings.

The case of writ petition filed by AMIE against MHRD for recognition of our courses came up before joint registrar in Hon'ble High Court of Delhi for completion of proceedings on 31 July 2014. The respondents have not filed their counter affidavits till today. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the joint registrar has given them final opportunity to file their counter affidavits  before the Joint Registrar with in four weeks by imposing a fee of Rs 10,000/-. The next date before the joint registrar is 10 Sept 2014.
