The Engineers Mobility Forum (EMF) Agreement is an International Recognition Agreement
for Professional Engineers between the engineering organizations in the member
jurisdictions, which creates the framework for the establishment of an international
standard of competence for professional engineering and then empowers each member
organization to establish a section of the International Professional Engineers (IntPE)
Register.
The Institution of Engineers (India) is a full member of The Engineers Mobility Forum (EMF),
a component of the International Engineering Alliance (IEA), since 2009.
The nomenclature of EMF is to be changed as The International Professional Engineers
Agreement, (IPEA) with effect from 01 January 2013.

I do sit in IPEA member council representing Engineers Australia and Engineering Council-UK in association with IMechE (UK) and RAeS.Currently IE India PEng(Professional Engineer) enjoy comity licensure with Engineers Australia,IPENZ New zealand.IE India Graduate need to be licensed as Professional Engineer in any of developed countries licensing bodies to enjoy comity agreement. This is not applicable to Sec A & B Graduates who are not licensed in IEI.Engineers need to be licensed before they can enjoy recognition as ENGINEER .If you are licensed Professional Engineer in one of developed countries like UK,USA,Australia,Canada etc then you should have no issue with licensing in other developed countries. This is not same case with IE India CEng who doesn't not have same reciprocal recognition agreement in developed nations.

Hope the above information helps.

All the best.
