Dear AMIEKEKA,

First tell why you are comparing regular BE course with AMIE? I think you do not have the complete information about  AMIE degree, how it is achieved?
At this stage only I can tell  ALL AMIE student is much more better and have the ability to give the answer and but regular only few BE may  compete with AMIE student. I do not think you might  be familiar at which ground and  syllabus, any course  is made equivalent to others and being recognized.
Requested to please do not make any such loose comments.
Thanks,
regards,
upendra

In the requirement of Engineers India limited for 2012, they mention that ONLY FULL TIME Engineering Graduates can apply. Can An AMIE passing student apply in relevant branch?

While describing the employer about amie, what should be said?      I mean how to describe amie so that it would make an impact on him and make us compete with regular BEs. Me too is not confident about its recognization. Because i decided to go for it instead of regular degree,  without a reliable job. Plz clarify.....   Kapil saìní

Amie students can be more competetive or more talented than Regular BE/B.Tech holders, i agree. in ours system., one syllabus is coupled with atleast 4 papers syllabi in regular candidate.moreover it is not wise to compare ppl's talent with the syllabi.
but the real fact is all companies prefering regular graduates than AMIE ppl. moreover IIT bombay and anna university Tamilnadu not accepting AMIE as equivalent to BE/B Tech. they are asking 2 years experience after completing AMIE. then in case of IIT aspirants and Tamilnadu students it is a big question and useless to do AMIE.also we are putting huge effort to clear each and every paper. AMIE is not worth for such a great effort..

I Agree somewhat for the above, but not all the time.
This is true only if u compare, an AMIE cleared person (because he is elder and experienced/worked in his field) with Just pass out Full time B Tech Student.

If for example one  AMIE holder has 10 Years Experience (With Diploma / 10+2) and then he clears section B.
One Regular BTech student who studied above syllabus and attains the 10 Years experience in a company.
Don't u find any interesting thing in this.
Now companies got the thing in this, that's why they are preferring full time graduates.

AMIE CLEARED PERSON'S 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE LEVEL IS BASED ON WORK DONE AS TECHNICIAN NOT AS AN ENGINEER
BUT FULL TIME B TECH STUDENT'S 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE WILL BE AS AN ENGINEER.
ANY BODY AGREE ABT THE DIFFERENCE

Don't focus on the number of subjects. Studying more number of subjects doesn't mean, more knowledge. Why GATE examinations are conducted as a single module? More number of subjects means easy to pass. A single subject in AMIE is splitted into many subjects in traditional University Programmes. Don't compare based on number of subjects. Professional examinations are professional examinations. CA examination is more tough than regular Master Degree examinations. Don't see the label pasted on the bottle. See the contents inside the bottle. Head of many PSUs (as you said MD of BHEL) are AMIE.

Dear AMIEKEKA,
How can you say this that AMIE is not equivalent to B'tech courses as per my knowledge and acc to my view it is better than b'tech and more than b'tech courses. Even u r also comparing no of subjects it doesn't matter how many subjects u read in amie or b'tech the main thing is how much knowledge u hv regarding course so never say these wording again without confirm it....

Regards,
Pardeep
