UPSC
UPSC recognised AMIE.
UGC
UGC recommends Sections A & B pass students for postgraduate studies in any Indian University.
Government of India
Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, Government of India's acceptance of Sections A and B as equivalent to a bachelor's degree in the appropriate field of engineering.
IIM
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad accepts Sections A & B passed students for admission to the Postgraduate Programme.
IIT
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay accepts Sections A & B passed students for admission to the Postgraduate Programme.
AICTE
AICTE approval does not apply for AMIE. The equivalence of AMIE is approved by Board of Assessment, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, and by The Association of Indian Universities for employment and academic equivalence.
DEC
Recognition of passing Sections A & B Examinations does not come under the purview of Distance Education Council.
UK
The National Recognition Information Centre of United Kingdom recognised Sections A and B of The Institution of Engineers (India) as comparable to British Bachelor (Honours) degree standard.
AUSTRALIA
Australia accepts Sections A & B pass students as Engineering Professionals for employment.
