Dear All,

First my greetings for everybody.

This is my first inquiry in this forum, I am a diploma holder in Electrical and electronics and working in Kuwait.

I have a confusion in taking demand draft, I already buy a prospectus for joining in our institution and the joining details are given in application for foreign countries but i need to add any amount with the total for DD claiming charges for institution.

I am expecting valuable reply to enroll the student of institution and participating the upcoming examination.

hi badusha,
i suggest you to take draft of overseas fee (eg.120 $) equivalent to indian rupees.
because some money get lost during conversion from $ to Rs.
IEI may reject your form if they have not received the correct money.
This is the advice i got in from IEI, kuwait.

I Don't know how can i take DD in equivalent to indian rupees, in application it is mentioned in dollers only.

Amount with application : 250$
Membership pack : 60$
Study material : 220$
Total : 530$

Hi,
If IE already mentioned in dollar then send DD in dollars only. I sent two times exam form with DD in dollars only and it was accepted. Not only me lots of student who giving exam from abudhabi I think they are sending exam fess in Dollars only. DD in dollars can get easily at any reputed money exchange.

Go to any exchange (ie. BEC exchange) take a respective amount of draft.
Either Dollars or indian rupees. choice is yours.
but for dollars you have to pay some extra money.
1st time i took draft in dollars, later i started taking in indian rupees. we can save some money.

one more suggestion:
you can register your membership from india address also. then you have pay only Rs.5,300 instead of Rs.24,000/-. All the correspondence will come to your india address(that is always permanent address for us). i did the same way for my Section-A & Section-B registration.
