It depends upon your interest of study and how much you assimilate.
Studying 2-3 hour per day may give enough confidence to pass the AMIE.

1.5 or 2 hour in day is enough to clear the amie exams but your basic concept should be clear and you have to give time to

study from startinng regularly it is not possible to clear the exams by only starting study before one month of exams

hi jithinnp

my situation is more similar to you.. i need to work 12 hours a day with five working day in a week.

i planned like this to cover subjects... may be try this...

try to spend one hour per day that's more than enough... if you do it regularly...
before starting any chapter... first go through the syllabus and make sure that you have all the topic detailed in your book which your refering.... i would suggest to refer atleast two books... so you will get better idea... then go through the last five question papers and analyse the type of questions and repeated questions from the chapter.... then concentrate on the individual topics... read the same topic in the both the books... through which you will get more idea and better clarity on the topic... try to cover atleast 50% of the chapter on day one... second day concentrate on the remaing 50%...
third day have a breif on the entire chapter and try to answer the questions in the old question paper...

in the same manner.. fourth day try things on a different chapter on a different subject.... make a time table hence you cover all the chapters in the all the subject well before one month of the exam..

now its time to recollect all the things which you studied...

believe be... reading things ones will never help you in exam... recollecting things over a period of time will help you.. that means reading the chapter again and again over a period of time...

intially it will be difficult to sit of one hour to do your readings...

but, later think like.. your going to tuition... have a mind set.. that you can enjoy in weekends...
if your practise this.... you will see good result in the exam... i practised this way.. and when i did it... i was succesfull...
Thanks & Regards

Its not for how many hours...if you can complete ur today's target in 30 min then 30 min if 60 then 60 min.

All you have to do is set your monthly then --> weekly then --> daily target and try to achieve that.

Normally if you are working you would give 1 hr in a day to study -- whether you complete or not the important thing is to understand and be confident during exams on ur studies
