Syllabus query

Postby mandeshivaji » Mon Jun 06, 2011 2:00 pm

I think, some of the questions asked in AMIE exams are out of syllabus.
e.g. In case of material science, The topics 'Nanomaterial' & 'corrosion' are not included in syllabus given by IEI & also in its study material.
How can I get the exact syllabus?
Pl. guide.

Regards,
Shivaji.

hello Shivaji
Nano materials is given in study material but just 1 or 2 paragraphs only. in order to clear exams you has to to study the extra books as recommended by IEI and listed with syllabus. these books are very helpful and most of questions are asked from these books.
one important thing to remember that you should study each topic in these books (which is given in syllabus given by IEI & also in its study material) and write downs notes that will help you very much in the time of exams.
in most of old papers of material science, numerical questions are asked from questions givens in study material(or similar to those givens in study material

There is limited empirical evidence to support the importance of design-manufacturing (DM) integration on the performance of new product development projects. This article focuses on the impact of integration processes and their outcomes on multidimensional project performance. When considering integration as interaction processes, we find that the degree of interaction is positively correlated with respect for time and prestige. If one succeeds in smoothing the production start-up, which is an outcome of integration, a better respect for time, budget and technical specifications is realized. Finally, we provide some insights into the perceived room to improve integration. Even though perceptions do not always correspond with reality, it is interesting to examine them since product development decisions are often taken in response to an individuals perceptions

"is it necesssary to study in deep according to sylabus per topic?"

Dear frd,

yea of course. If you are not a regular student of AMIE, you have to study very deeply as per the syllubus which you are getting from IE.
