Dear All, gud morning

I would like to give some study techniques hereunder

Many a times we fail to understand the subject or we may get bore by studying subject which is very difficult to understand say for example Material science.

One simple technique to study this subject

1. Take one white A4 Size paper, start reading say chapter 1 u r studying
2. Note down all Paragraph headings and some important words from that para, not all exactly
3. While reading if u r not understanding, then dont weste ur time in forcing ur mind in grasping that point, just read once make a note of it and goto next para
4. Lastly ur one white paper should contain entire chapter
5. If 10 chapters then 10 papers thats it
6. Now i wil tell u how it helps
7. When exams are very nearer just 2-5 days remaining in that time everything cant be reapeated or read its not possible coz most of us working professionals and we dont have time but if u have made this papers ready then anytime u can read them it takes hardly 10-15 mins to read one paper means one chapter, no matter how much u remember but atleast u can remember how many points are dere in a chapter and something u can write, u can remember

Sub: Design & Manufacturing
Chapter 1: Engineering Design Process and Its Structure

1. Introduction: Definition of Design -- quest for simplicity and order
2. Design Process
a.Specification
b. Synthesis
c. Analysis
d. Manufacture
3. Identification And Analysis of Need

and little sub points goes here


So in this way while reading the chapter at dat time only u prepare such a paper,and iam sure it will help u in the last moment

It is very good concept but i dont think that we can get exemption in the subjects if e r doing so.
Short cut may always cut short the life

Asif here i am new here, & i saw your study method & its superb. I dont have time to study i m busy with my office work but i will try, & u know its matching with my method difference is i use to write little more what u said, anyway thanks lot,
my suggestion is if you read once like this then you will come to know the basic concept depends on that we can study in depth by referring books whenever we have time.thank u ya......

ur tips to prepare for exams are good.but everyone should understand that a study should not aim only at exams.that is, mere passing a exam will do nothing for anyone's future.so,every AMIE aspirant should try to study hard(dont mistake me if i am wrong).

all shortcuts and haste leads to nothing the best method is
rely on your study material
have a perfect and well structured schedule
don't focus on rumors like cracking it is very hard

i think one should prepare short notes. those are very helpful at 11th hour. but before preparing those notes one should keenly understand the basic concept of subject. read all material at least twice if u have enough time. keep short notes ready with u every time and glance them whenever u get free time. ( After all caliber of every individual is different, study methods too, criticize yourself before believing any method, pick out the one which best suits you)
