Hello RANA JI, read it carefully:
1. For passing any subject, u need to get C or above grade.
2. Suppose u have cleared 3 subjects of section A(Diploma) and left with only one subject, now even if u get D grade, then also u will be cleared or passed in section A. But D grade is permitted only if during previous exam, u have got at least B or higher grade in at least one subject. Further D grade is allowed for passing only in one subject in section A(Diploma) and two subjects in section A(Non-Diploma) and two in section B that too if these are last subjects means last attempt. In other words, other subjects r cleared.
3. To summarize, minimum requirement is: just suppose
if someone attempt 3 exams in winter and get C grade in two subjects and B or higher grade in one subject, then only he will b eligible to take advantage of clearing section A even with D grade in last subject during summer. Otherwise he wil b required 2 get minimum C grade in it.

Minimum GPA C is required to pass any section for AMIE. :) That allows you GPA D for one subject with sec A and 2 subject of Sec B. Pls refer below link for more details:

Hi Ramkumarn,
You have misunderstood the IEI rules.
there is nothing to do with the marks. you have to see the grades & respective points.
H grade-10 points
A grade-9 points
B grade-8 points
C grade-6 points
D grade - 5points

(C+C+C+D=6+6+6+5)=5.75 (means fail) minimum CGPA required is 6.0.
To pass Sec-A (diploma stream) Either person should take minimum
1. C+C+C+C
2. C+C+B+D

hope you understand.
Regards,
Charulatha.
