I am still thinking to start B.E. in winter batch. But as per the exam schedule I have seen that there are two exams on each day.

So that means we would have to give two exams on the same day?

for section a diploma stream, there will be always 2 exams in a day.

I applied 17-02-11 and i got my register number also. but still i not get my Membership. normaly how much time to take for membership? and how can i know the status. i tried mostly all numbers no one pick the phone. please help me..

hi,
registration period takes 3-4 months. don't wait till u get membership. start ur preparation.
you can give ur winter exams. then keep checking www.ieindia.info website for newly enrolled members.

Hi kumar,
im not sure abt exemption, may be chances are there to get in mathematics.
try to go throu the syllabus of all subjects (10) in section A (non-diploma stream). any of the subjects covering ur degree syllabus, then you can request them for exemption.

I put application for AMIE on 21 May 2011... but still i didnt get the Roll No. and Books

Hi veerapandi,
registration process takes 3 months. wait till august 31st. if you are enrolled on or before 31.08.11, then you are eligible for winter 2011 exams. check IEI website for newly enrolled details.www.ieindia.info
There is no point in contact IEI before that. if you call also they will say application in processing.
once u got registered you will receive sms with membership no.
