Hi people,
I am newbie to AMIE and this website.
I am preparing to appear in winter 2011 exam for section A(Diploma) and this is my first attempt.
Can anyone of you please guide me that study material provided by IEI is enough to crack the exam if one study them thoroughly?
I have no other study material with me apart from that and since I am a working guy won't be able to prepare from 3-4 books for all 4 subjects in such a short time.
Any advice would be really appreciated.

Please don't try to misguide the people & don't give any wrong information unless you know correctly.

If the candidates are not paying the fees for study material their application will be kept hold. pls find the following descrepancy i copied from IEI website.

The Study Materials for the following four subjects of Section A(ND)/Section A(D) have been made compulsory to the applicants applying for T/ST
Membership at the price of Rs.1150/- (US $ 120 for Overseas candidates :
A) Fundamentals of Design/Manufacturing (AN 201/AD 301)
B) Material Science & Engineering (AN 202/AD302)
C) Computing & Informatics (AN 203/AD 303)
D) Society & Environment (AN 204/AD 304) You are requested to remit the above amount by a demand draft in favour of The Institution of
Engineers (India), payable at Kolkata or through Credit Card using the enclosed proforma.
