Dear all,
Thanks for sharing ur views.
Best way is if ur going for online payment, be alert.
As we know IEI doesn't allow for exams if anything goes wrong in payment ,whether it is of site problem or anything.
I think IEI site should have feed back form for teh new facility,,online payment is started since last year only. People who are finding any problems can write to them so that necessary action can be taken.

Thanks,

Hello Friends,

I have paid my exam fees for Winter 2009 through the IEI payment gateway. It works without any problem. You can use debit/credit cards for the same. Only ensure that the card is either a VISA or a MASTERCARD.

It is a very convenient option. I am going to pay the exam fee for Summer 2010 using the payment gateway.

Please note the following things while making the payment:

* Note down the Order or the Request Reference No which is a unique number generated every time you fill out the online form. If your transaction fails this number changes for the next attempt.

* Once the transaction is successful you will get a "Payment Gateway transaction ID". Please note this number.

* Take snapshots during the process and finally take a printouts when:

1) You have filled the details and are proceeding to the payment gateway
2) Once you have successfully completed the transaction and the ID is generated.

* Fill out a exam form and in place of DD/Cheque details write down the "Request Reference No" and "Transaction ID". Send this to IEI.

In case there is some problem with your payment, IEI promptly emails you or send you a letter. The only thing I do not understand is the need to send a paper form back to IEI. I guess it is for the signature and record purposes.

IEI should send a confirmation email to the ID specified in the online form so that we have a proof of payment made. Rest works absolutely fine.
