Well let me tell you something
Your money won't get lost anywhere if you do online transactions , there are regulatory bodies who monitor these systems and they are launched only after full testing.

In most of the cases it is due to users negeligence . Last time - Sum '09 my friend paid online and he paid twice with two names and the amount got deducted twice. After informing to IEI Kolkatta they had send him money return. While at the same time i paid the fees online without any trouble.

While doing online transactions here are few tips:
1) Check whether the site is not a fake site --> HTTP(No) or HTTPS(Yes), Lock icon below in status bar,
2) Avoid refreshing, clicking to go back or Alt + <- , disconnecting from session, it may cause the money to get deducted but it gets debited again after few days.

And remember to keep ur Security Updates to lates (AV, Browser, OS)

Hello Friends,

I have also done online payment of Exam fees for Winter 2009 examination. It works.

Only make sure that you take snapshots or printouts of the reference number and the "Transaction ID" - also called the "Authorization Code" by IEI. Then send the printouts along with the exam form and mention the Reference No and Transaction ID on the Form.

This should be enough.

The only thing that you need to take care is that the reference number changes every time you start the process fresh. So be sure to record it before paying the amount.

visit ieindia.org website on the type of payment they will be open a link for online payment..
you need to fill a online form mentioning all the details like you fill in exam form and submit.
you also receive a confirmation mail as well as you can copy the receipt number and every thing from the website after the payment..

we understood that online payment facility to IEI is appreciable of the fact that all the payment are to reach IEI, Kolkatta & would be other wise timetaking/laborious to send DDs.

I believe that more & more candidates should try & make use of such facilities of technological advancement as a step/contribution towards the concept of progressing the future of the country.
Once more & more candidates start using these facilities it would get more streamlined & error free.

Hello friends,

Normally When you pay online, you will receive an email (auto generated) to your ID by which you have registered, which will give you confirmation of your transation and reference no. for your order and Shipment details and expected time of delivery etc..

This is very much useful to track your consignment and to put your queries.

But, Unfortunately this service is not avilable with IEI online transations.

I paid through online for prospectus and i dont know which is the concerned telephone no for this pirticular case.

I tried a couple of numbers from ieindia.org web page, but without success.

I had a very bad experience of shoratage of application forms at local center.

I dont know, how long i have to wait for my prospectus.

Best regards.,
Prathyush.
