Dear Praveen ,Kulvinder,Komal,

I wanted you people to pass this information to those people who have completed DOEACC O,A,B,C Level examinations and other similar courses run especially by Govt of India organizations. Please be specified that these courses cannot be treated at same level as AMIE/IETE/AeSI program as they are not run by Professional Institutions of National Importance and there recognition O & A Level states at Advance Diploma Level program valid for Govt of India employment. But this recognition doesn’t equates to Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. The courses conducted by IE India,IETE,AeSI are carefully screened by AICTE and recommended to HRD Ministry for Approval at par with Bachelor Degree in Engineering. This is not the case with DOEACC run courses. So till such time when DOEACC is granted the status of University or equivalent Institution of National Importance, there programmes will not be considered as Degree in Engineering outside India and they won’t be eligible for Professional Engineering Licensure or Immigration purpose.

Yes but if they complete AMIE or other MTech programme, they will be permitted for PEng or other opportunities outside India.

I have been receiving queries in this regard and I hope it clarifies the matter to all such people holding such Qualifications.

Best regards

Bishnujee Singh ,P.E

Hello,

DOEACC program O,A,B level will not be acceptable for Professional Engineering Licensing in USA and Canadian States due to reservation among members of Professional Engineer Board of US States and Canadian provinces. It would be acceptable for H1B Visa but not for Immigrant Visa for Green card application while being in employment in USA.

The credential evaluators who have recommended same in USA and Canada will not be acceptable for above mentioned purposes.

All the best and good luck.
