Hi ,
I am sanjeev my registration got expired in 2006.
I have applied for re-registration along with DD of rs 1500.
Also I applied for change of address and lost ID card along with 105 Rs DD and a blank card.

My ST number is ST-369151-4.
I applied 40 days back but still not received any acknowledgement.

Can any one help me ?

you should to contact at institute of engineers directly.
i aslo did re-registered only to get new id it took 2 month after that i got attested and send back to them.45 days over i think with in one month I will get.

Actually I have courierd the ID and fees on 28-06-10 it reached IEI on 1-07-2010.
I am waiting for ID card return .

Now problem is I have to apply for Dec-10 exam I am not sure if I can give the exams.
Also if I am eligible I have to send them exam fees in month of august.

I am confused whether I should pay exam fees before getting ID card.
Only One reply I got from IEI after so many mails and calls to IEI stating Your Membership ID remains same and re-registration is processed.

Can you share experience with IEI

I also have same problem.
First i sent re-register form, change of address form, old ID and DD. Then after two months i got new ID with name and new address printed, asked to paste the photo and attested with AMIE holder. Then I sent back them that ID with attestation. Now 45 days over still I did not recieved back. I hope with in next 30 days I should get it. I am also want to give exam in December 2010. I am eligible for exam because I am already registred member, only i did Reregistred. Only worry is I should get my ID before exam time.

Dear Friends,
I also faced same problem for summer 2010 exam. I also send re-registration & changed address applications with pre-requisite documents and DD. Only I do ensure in IEI website that the period in which the re-registration application should reach with IEI HQ (for appearing summer exams) that is 1st Jan to 31 st Jan. I post the documents on 7th Jan 2010.
on 20th Feb 2010 around I got ID card with same membership no and changed address printed on it.
I return the ID card with pasting photo filling details and attesting with AMIE member within two days with courier. But the last date of filling exam forms, for those who were not appear previous exam is came for a week & I didn't get ID card from IEI. I play a blind gamble I courier the exam form with DD. And I get the ID card couple of weeks later.
I am in doubt whether I did get hall ticket to appear in exam or not till the day of exam but I did get hall ticket & I appear exam.
Well friends we have no alternative to relay on our destiny in such cases as IEI help line were not working and IEI officials are not bother to answer our querries.
