Hi friends,
I am Sherief, a diploma holder in Electronics Engg, i am a new ST member of AMIE....presently i am working in UAE. I would like to know the last date of application for Sec A Summer 2012 exams and the fee structure when I will write my exams abroad (Abudhabi). Please help me if you have any information about that.

Hi sherif,
please make clear that you are already a member or u applying for membership.
if you are already a member then just pay $ 150 (overseas fee for exam) in the month of march. exact dates will be mentioned in the IEI website.

if you are newly applying for membership, then go to the nearest IEI centre in abudhabi, pay the membership fee in dollars (amount will be mentioned in the application form). Local centre members will assist you. but if u apply now, you will not be eligible for summer 2012 exams.

You Want to apply before December because it takes 3 months for registration but u can try now i also got registered in 2 and half months

this is Ashru mochen das from jamshedpur.I have applied for the summer 2012 season and would like to know weather the study materials(book lets) provided by IEI is enough to score good marks in AMIE exams or any further reference will be helpful for scoring good marks. PLs replyyy

Dear Moderator,

I have already registered with IEI for ST membership on Jan 2011 by sending a DD of 4800/- rupees. Since it was delay I sent a mail to them to know the status of my membership, and they replied that both study materials and ID card will be sending by the end of July. Later I received my study material for Section A in July without ID card and election letter.

Recently i have sent a mail again to membership@ieindia.org, but still no reply. I called all the numbers of IEI but no nswer.
my one more doubt is whether this amount 4800/- rupees in including section A exam fee or just a registration fee?
