I have been told from my senior member that e.g. if one attempts Sec A diploma exam in may 2011 and got 30, 50, 50, 60 marks then when he has reappear in the subject which he secured 30 marks. In next attempt he has to score 70 marks to get clear this backlog subject. (My senior told me that the marks we have to obtain to completely pass the backlog subject will be {30(last attempt) + 70(to be scored in present attempt)}/{2(no. of attempts)=50 marks )}
It's never too late to start...
