Dear sir,
i am final year student at JADEVPUR UNIVERSITY in MARINE ENGINEERING .
Can i convert or get an additional degree in mechanical engineering and if
possible what is the procedure for same

first of all U R not a student of jadavpur university.
1. Jadavpur Spelling. It's JADAVPUR, not JADEVPUR.
2. Jadavpur University doesnot provide any course in Marine Engineering.

if you want to do Mechanical enginnering from AMIE then you have to join as a Fresh candidate.

Sir ,
I m a student of JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY, yes i did spell that wrong.sir i feel sorry that i have to inform u that JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY does offer course in MARINE ENGINEERING and the course is carried out at MARINE ENGINEERING & RESEARCH INSTITUTE , P-19 Taratala road , kolkata-700088 formerly known as D.M.E.T. (DIRECTORATE OF MARINE ENGINEERING AND TRAINING). IT is a 60 year old institute and the admission is not through any ordinary JEE , It is through prestigious IIT JEE . I m a 2008 entry student and will get my final BE degree from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY . And it is not just me all the 165 students of my batch will get the degree from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY and my seniors also had their final degree from jadavpur university. I had heard about degree convertion and did not had much idea that is why i posted it , hoping for a relevant reply .
