I am a complete newbie in AIME.
Now i download a detailed syllabus from This site and some other space.
Also i collect a huge note for section A examination in all subject..!
Between 2 or 3 days, i will take a print out of my all soft copies..
But still i have some doubts, How can i start..
I am a diploma in electronics engineering and a sound knowledge in electronics and computers.
Which subject i start.
Also i yet not registered AS member in institute of engineers..!
May i can start my study at now and if i can participate in winter exam 11?
Pls suggest me a good starting....

Hi,
First visit near your local IE centre and purchase registration form or Requeste from IE head quater.
Once you get form fill it and take signature on form from AMIE holder. Take address of AMIE holder of your area from your IE local cetre office or ask IE local centre office if they have any person who can do attestaion.
Send filled form with DD to IE head quater. To get you memership and ID card it may take three month. So do it fast if you want to appear for winter 2011 exam.

If you have diploma in electronics then you can choose electronics field. you must submit your form at the earliest and also you can start study as there are four subjects in section A for those who have diploma these are

1. FUNDAMENTALS OF DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING
2. MATERIAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
3. COMPUTING AND INFORMATICS
4. SOCIETY AND ENVIRONMENT
