Its gives me immense pleasure to announce that Saudi Council Of Engineers which is one of GCC Members like other Gulf Nations has approved Institution of Engineers (India) Sec A & B at par with Bachelor Degree in Engineer of 4 years.
Please be advised that SCE doesn’t recognized distant level,correspondence or other non contact courses for Professional Registration in Engineer Grade.I am glad that they accepted my request to include IE India Graduates just like another Full time Bachelor Engineering Graduates from other Universities.

I am glad it has come to happy ending where people had faced lots of difficulties in past.This sets the precedent now for other GCC Members to follow accordingly.

Thank you very much for your mail. The Sections A & B exams of IEI is recognized by SCE for equivalency to bachelor degree considering the related notification in Indian Gazette; thus basically there shouldn't be any problem with IEI members in getting registered.

We have been trying to communicate with IEI through intnl@ieindia.org for any support that may help us to help the Indian engineers in KSA. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response till now. We appreciate your help to direct our request to the concerned personnel at IEI.

This request has been forwarded to me from one of concerned Institution of Engineers (India) Graduate Engineer to me,which I wanted to check the status with your registration team.As you must be aware that Institution of Engineers (India) is one of the Full EMF Member along with developed nations and I wanted to check with EC Saudii Arabia recognizes the Qualification at Degree in Engineering awarded by IE India or not.I work with Institution of Engineers India on their various global issues.
Based on your feed back I would be advising IE India team accordingly about status of recognition by EC Saudi Arabia.

Also please find recognition documents for IE India Graduates issued from NARIC UK on behalf of British Govt Department of Education & work and AACRAO in USA and HRD Ministry Govt of India.


Please advise in this regard .
