Dear Balaraj,
Sorry according to IEI rules of eligibilty for technicians and senior technicians B. Sc qualified candidates with any speciallisation is consider for the Techicains membership only even though there degree is consider as diploma of engineering with respective branch.
This may be because such candidates were not aware of basic engineering subjects as "Engineering Drawing", and other Applied Sciences.
Please check the information with IEI personnel with contaqcting through there local centres. And also confirm that weather you get any exemptions of subject form IETE (The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) Examinations
Regards,

You have completed B.Sc. (Electronics) and you are working in BSNL. Only the students who have diploma in engineering are eligible and for technician, If you want promotion in your company. You can apply for M.Sc through distance education .In my opinion it totally depends upon you that in which sector you want to step in. Also if you want to pursue your education as well as you want to do some kind of job then also you can pursue your education from Sikkim Manipal University. I have done my B.Sc and pursuing M.Sc from Sikkim Manipal University distance program besides i am doing job in Software Company. This course is primarily for working professionals and people who do not have the time or resources to get a full time M.Sc. For the prospectus and speaking to their counselor you can register for free at: http://www.smude.edu.in
