I think sms is newly started system.
Don't worrry if u haven't yet get.
Complete registration procedure taked 3 1/2 month,so still one month to go for ur registration but if u have received descripancy msg then u should contact at IEI immediately.

but can u tell me...suppose i get my iei i card and registration in April end,will i able to give exams in summer 2010???

U can give summer exams only if u have filled examination form before 22nd march'10.

Don't worry if you have the acknowledgement number. SMS is only extra facility and last time even i didn't got sms.

Just check your name when the list is displayed.
