Approval of AMIE

Distance Education council Clarifying that AMIE & similar courses does not come under its purview & hence is not Distance B.Tech.

so finally what is the conclussion.

AMIE is equivalent to degree or is a degree.
What would be the significance of the term "equivalent".

Do someone have a copy of the Part 1 Section 1 of Gazette of India.
(as the attachment is a notification & not the actually publication)

Further, in the letter from AIU, IGNOU & UPSC the reference is to Institution of civil engineers (india), is that also refereing to the IEI(India)
