Postby naqvisk » Wed Jul 27, 2011 1:32 pm

[b][b]Since AMIE is well recognised by the Central Government as well as all State Governments, so after passing AMIE a person is eligible for all the Government and Private jobs which is for B.E. passed students.BUT the reality is some what different,I am Syed Khaliq Ahmad Naqvi did My AMIE in 1995 and after that I applied in various Pvt.Engineering Colleges for the post of Lecturer but the management straightaway refusing my RESUME by just saying that as per AICTE NORMS AMIE Passed are not eligible for the same.I am in great trouble please helpme,I wrote many times to IEI also they simply posted me the copies of recognitions.Even though i have attached the copies that i received from AICTE,IF any one of u need those replies that i received from AICTE then feel free to contact via E-MAIL

Hello Syed,

Please provide complete details about your communication between yourself and concerned Engineering College. There are numerous Professional Engineering Colleges under AICTE,UGC etc where AMIE/AeSI/IETE Professional Degree holders have held Lecturer in Engineering role.I will have discussion with AICTE and Engineering Council-India regarding this issue in forthcoming visit to India where they have invited me for discussion on several issues. It should be sorted out.May be you can consider sending me details about your case in my email and I will let you know whatever best can be done under circumstances.Nothing is impossible on this planet.

All the best !

Best regards

Dear Syed,

Thanks for your attachments from AICTE.If you go through the AICTE attachment issued by Prakash Chandra sent to you on 23 Dec 2010,please note the comment from AICTE.It has mentioned that AICTE doesn’t have control over Accreditation of IE India or acceptability of same for Lecturership or any other Employment in India.

It has left prospective hiring Universities/Companies to determine whether they will accept the concerned individual or not.Its same with regards to admission in PG admission in India.

Please be specified that currently AICTE is not responsible for accredition of Academic Programs of Professional Societies and IE India has been listed as Institution of National Importance on new website of AICTE.Please be specified that as of now only NBA (National Board of Accredition) has been assigned accredition of Academic Programs in India and not AICTE.

The information issued on first attachment from AICTE was dated 14 Dec 2010 was wrong information issued by them ,since they later realized that it was not right info issued to you and has been amended in 2nd letter issued by AICTE office on 23rd Dec 2010 that they don’t have authority to enforce regulations regarding AMIE/AeSI/IETE since all these bodies are statutory council in Engineering and doesn’t come under their purview. That was the right feedback by them.

There fore in view of the above fact its upto Individual colleges in India have to determine whether they wish to accept same or not.

Please be specified that after your comments on AMIE Study website, I had cross checked with AICTE/UGC approved Colleges in various parts of India to find out there local standing regarding acceptability of Professional Degree holders and number of AICTE universities have hired AMIE/AeSI/IETE Section A &B Degree holders. Therefore 2nd letter of AICTE dated 23 Dec 2010 is rightly justified that its upto Individual Colleges /Universities to determine same and not AICTE as its outside their purview .Please be specified that IE India is similar level statutory Council like AICTE and so cannot be judged by AICTE.

Hope it helps with your query.

All the best.

Dear Syed ,

Please go through IET Alwar website (AICTE & NBA accredited ) which is in Rajasthan too and has 3 Lecturer in Engineering on its faculty list who are AMIE Graduates only:

http://www.ietalwar.com/faculty.html

It doesn't matches with your version of statement that Degree Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan not accepting AMIE Degree holders.

As AICTE mentioned in its letter addressed to you dated 23 Dec 2010 that its upto individual Institutions to decide whether they wish to hire particular individual or not. They don't have power to enforce in current circumstances.

Hope it clarifies your query.

All the best and good luck.
